Stripping the walls of colour - getting real

Image
"Being There" A lovely soul from Oregon is taking over my sanctuary. Godspeed. I'm stripping down my walls....as the colourful textures of my paintings descend to reveal the pristine whiteness behind, I'm feeling a little blue. The excitement of the journey is not yet. Though, the emptiness of the life I am collapsing into a singularity is becoming apparent.  I was never a pro at "goodbyes." But this time around, it is much more global - it is to everything here, in the U.S. It is to the way of life that has been home to me for nearly 1/2 of my life. I have spent so many tumultuous, fruitful and insightful years here, and I do not feel "met" here any longer. My heart and spirit do not feel met. I I will not miss it - I know in my gut. It feels like I've squozen every drop from that marrow [who says I can't mix metaphors ;O)!] - tasting the highest of the high and the lowest of the low sides.... There is completeness and sadness and a budd...

Journeys and Anchors

Image
A few days ago, I have undergone a profound shamanic ritual around heart opening, for the first time since my transformation has begun. I felt that it would be much easier to journey the world in the state of heart-opening, surrender and trust... And open my heart did. It feels like all the transformation that has been taking place over the past 2 years is clicking into place with precision and grace.....Internal alchemy is a fascinating process indeed! I feel like in some way, my body is literally changing phase. Another vibrational state....another level of consciousness. The internal quake is of such magnitude, that I can feel the Matrix vibrating violently with it - I am in awe in advance for the tsunami of experience that will manifest as a re-action to this quake. Feels like the timing is perfect. Something enormous is coming through me - the energy so big that I have no words for it. A week later, I am still percolating. Yet, the people in my life ask whether I shall be back ...

The Disconnection Saga begins

Image
My Treehouse Sanctuary [view from the loft] I am becoming present to the multitude of disconnection logisticae that need to take place. Also, setting in motion the rusty left-brain gears of planning and preparation makes my ears emit smoke rings a bit. There is a tinge of fear and momentary trepidation around surrendering the Sanctuary I have lovingly created for my recovery. It is a perfect space. Truly beautiful and inspiring - soaring ceilings, light-filled..........and it has manifested to order just when I wanted it. And now I am giving it up. To wander through the world with but a backpack.  The material possessions that are no-liquid feel like a burden....again. The comfort and static safety that have served me so well and that I so craved during my recovery phase now feel like something of the past. I need to move. Physically.  As I am manning up to disassembling the life I have created here - life geared for efficiency, comfort and beauty/creativity, a part in me w...

Lead tours around EU] - 6 months ~~~~~~ From there - to Tibet and India [another circuit of independent travel for 6 months or so - to be updated].  ~~~~~~ Whew! I feel relief knowing the 1st step is in place and the dates are set. Now I am beginning the detanglement process from the life I have created here in the U.S. disconnecting, finding folks to rent my beautiful treehouse sanctuary....at the same time, reading up on all the new lands I am about to discover. Overwhelmment rears its ugly head once in a while, but my passion for this dream and clarit...

Power for the Road

Image
Oh, power, power, power, POWER! For years I have wondered what it would be like to stand in it. Genuinely stand in my rooted, primal ROAR power. Not the show-off, "macho" kind of place that is really in the domain of Force [that thing we do when we perceive a lack of Power], but the "in the flow," "Neo-dodging-bullets-one-with-it-all" kind of power [Matrix fans, anyone?]. Someone once told me to beware of my wishes for they just might manifest... And so did this one. By a fling of luck, I have found myself at Joe Weston's "Respectful Confrontation" 3 day playshop. There, through a number of intense physical exercises, I landed in that rooted, primal place of saying "NO" from my power-center. I realized that until that moment, my "no" was perpetually mixed with an unhealthy dose of guilt. I got that place of power anchored firmly in my body - it feels like every cell got the message. I feel that I can "beam" ba...
